Baby Girl Bib April 2009
My friend, Janet, had baby #2 in February. She had a shower in April. Other than some purchased clothing, I wanted to make something home-made for her 1st girl. I found a way to turn a big into something very pink and very froofie for her baby.

Gifts for Babies April 2009
My friend, Evelyn, had Baby Michelle in February. She was in town in April and I got to meet Baby Michelle and see baby Nicole too.
I wanted baby #2 to have something home-made from me as well as other goodies. So I made a personalized burp pad. I used diaper fabric that was pink and added yellow flannel fabric that had bunnies. I appliqued a bunny on it and added her name as well.

I also copied a head band I had purchased for the baby, using pink flannel fabric.

I couldn't forget big sister, so I embroidered a "I'm the Big Sis" onsie for her as well.

I had tons of ideas, but I was in the heat of tax season and could not do more at that time.
Pink Fleece Bear for Sick Little Girl
My friend Beth was generous enough to make this pink fleece bear for me a few years ago. I have enjoyed it, yet, it was time for someone else to enjoy it. I heard about a very sick little 8-yr-old girl who was having a heart transplant in Houston. So I added a face to the bear and made some clothing for her. I also personalized the bear's top with "Get well soon Robin". The bear made it to the hospital and I was told Robin was excited to get her bear.
